INKTOBER

The Grenika Twins
They used to be so close... or is that just how it looked to everyone else?

Under the Sea
This piece doubles as an Inktober entry and as concept art for my webcomic! I was thinking about what my beloved boy Tride here would look like a bit younger. I like the idea of his jellyfish acting as a cute little hat for him!

You Really Shouldn't Have Come Here

you look like you need an umbrella

Normal girl and her normal cat
Starting to feel myself struggle to keep up with the daily demand. Shame it's so early, but I'll have to start putting out simpler pieces for a little bit until I can catch my breath again.

00. The Fool
"There once was a fellow called Nines, who brought the gods fun and good times. But then for some reason, he was convicted of treason, and cast into a hole was he, to rot."

Silk the Spider
I like drawing characters at different ages, but I like drawing Silk at different ages most of all. The little experience of seeing the progression of his preferred form was fun to visualize! In particular I enjoyed thinking about the featureless form he took as a toddler. Poor little guy didn't have any idea who he wanted to be... I hope I can do more pieces like this in the future, it was way too time-consuming for how busy I am this October but super fun!

Puella Magi Sassafras
The novelty of drawing a bloodthirsty character has kind of worn off on me, but I still really enjoy thinking about my imposter OCs. So I decided to do something a bit different this year when drawing Sassafras, and put them in a fun little magical girl costume! In fact, the whole idea has made me think about possibly reworking my Among Us cast into a more original plotline... We'll see if that seed bears any fruit, I suppose.

Gretchen 2023
Usually Gretchen gets the honor of starring in my penultimate Inktober piece, but I needed to crunch out a handful of pieces and she's one of those OCs who I can draw in a very short amount of time, since I know her inside and out. Posing and mannerisms are never a struggle with her - plus I did her parents for day 5, and the idea of posting her holding a bucket of mud after showing her parents with the caption "their daughter eats mud" was too funny to me to overlook.

Beauty and the Beast
Their daughter eats mud for fun.

RANDOM BULLSHIT GO!!!
Spent too long trying to fit Switchblade into the role of a psychic before I realized it's just way funnier if she was an avid occultist.

GOD i am so eepy
This character did not exist before this piece! Time will tell if I decide to keep him or not.

SPL!CED
Will I ever actually make some sort of story exploring Polaris? I hope so.

Patch Jumpscare
It's been a while since I thought about Patch, but he's got a bit of a soft spot in my heart despite the lack of love I've shown him, so opening this year with a Patch piece felt like a fun change of pace. Since I don't talk about him much, I'll drop a fun Patch fact: His true form is a small parasite, hence the tendrils coming out of the right eye.
